The Importance Of Communicating

We all know that we are social creature, even more so during this pandemic while we are away from our friends and possibly even family. During this period when our hunger to communicate and hunger to meet our friends and family grew, We look forward to the day where our chance is here. To meet our friends and family once again.

During this period of time, I started thinking about the importance of communicating. As important as communication is to us as social creatures, the right way of communication has also became a skill that we all need.

Communicating for instance is the act of passing down of either information, knowledge, thoughts, ideas or solutions. It is a form of passing, passing something in terms of verbal, oral or written information, though today I’m just generalising communication as a whole.

For instance, my personal experience on the importance of communicating was back in my secondary school years where I worked with many of my classmates as well as my corp’s mate. I realised how crucial and important passing down of information could be. It was never just a message send from my side and that’s it, expecting that all things will turn out well. That was then when I realised that communication is always a dialogue and never a monologue.

I communicated with different types of people from different backgrounds. Some of my friends at that time did not have a communicating device like a phone. Hence, when we had any last minute events that pops out, or any last…
